Christopher Nott as David Essex

After leaving school at the age of sixteen Chris joined a group called Snaps as their lead vocalist, they already had a recording contract (Charisma Records) and a loyal following, together we released a couple of singles did a nationwide tour and featured in the trendy teen magazines of the time.
He signed his first solo record deal at the age of nineteen (Magnet), and his second at the age of twenty four, (Polydor) He has worked with some of the most talented producers and musicians in the world, including Steve Levine, Peter Collins, Simon Cowell, Pete Waterman, Shakin Stevens, and Lenny Henry. He started performing Live again in 1995 when he was approached to front a soul band (The Soul Traders) this led to me being spotted by an agent who asked him to audition for the hit TV show Stars in Their Eyes. He took this opportunity and ended up performing to an audience of approx ten Million viewers on the 1999 series as the  Legendary David Essex.

Most of his time is now taken up with touring the UK and beyond with his live show The best POP/SOUL show in the world ever, the show includes numerous Soul and Motown classics with a sprinkling of timeless Pop hits In the shape of a tribute section featuring Number One songs from David Essex, Tom Jones, and Donny Osmond, however He is fortunate to enjoy world wide success with His exclusive David Essex Tribute Show.
